The Wollondilly Wanderers and Macarthur branches of the Ulysses MC Club will be conducting a display at the ‘Southern Highlands Outdoor Recreation & Adventure Show’ from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th November, 2016.
Show organiser Wayne Boatwright, is a motorcycle enthusiast himself and originally approached Jennifer Woods (National VP) earlier this year with an offer for the club to take a display stand at the event at no cost to promote the club and its activities.
“If someone says outdoor recreation & adventure I think motorcycle riding” said Boatwright. “But to other people outdoor recreation means camping or caravanning or hiking or 4wding. To some its boating, fishing, flying, adventure travel, etc. So the concept of the event is to showcase the widest possible range of outdoor recreation products, services and activities. We already have over 120 exhibitors at the event including some great motorcycle exhibitors and displays and there will be lots of exciting special attractions. Visitors will be able to take a ride with Isuzu Team-MAX up and over the world’s steepest 4WD ramp, test ride a Segway or electric bike or even try their hand at metal detecting. There will be plenty of activities for kids too including rock climbing, rope activities, jumping castles and electric trials bike rides. The Southern Highlands is a great motorcycle touring destination, particularly at that time of year so we would be delighted to have Ulysses Club members drop in and check out the show.”
More information about the show can be found at www.adventureshow.com.au. Tickets are $15 / head and there are great early bird ticket prizes to be won for purchasing tickets on-line prior to the show. As well as a chance to win some prizes, the first 30 Ulysses Club members who pre-purchase their early bird tickets on line can do so at a discounted rate of just $10 by using the discount code ‘Ulysses’ so grab your tickets now and start planning a ride to the Southern Highlands in November to check out this great event.
